About W@R

Wargaming At Radstock was founded in 2000 by Ryan of Iksentrik, gaming in a shop on Catherine Hill, Frome, picking up on a new game called Warmachine.

Soon enough, the club expanded and began using a small room in The Packhorse, still in Frome taking on the name The 'ers; Gamers, Painters and Drinkers!
Here the club began expanding its player base and the games played, expanding from Warmachine to cover a variety of independant games and even developing a couple of our own!

With the closure of The Packhorse the club soon moved to Prattens at Westfield aquiring room for more tables, storage for terrain and rulesets and a proper committee taking on the name Wargaming At Radstock.

as mentioned W@R plays alot of games, including Games Workshops Warhammer 40,000, successful Necromunda and Gorkamorka campaigns, several players of Privateer Press Warmachine and Hordes, Infinity and are nurturing an interest in Wyrd Miniatures Malifaux.
No matter the system, if we have no players for it, there is bound to be another member interested in learning the rules!

Now that W@R is settling down in its new habitat with its membership steadily expanding, W@R is arranging cross-club gaming days and independant tournaments so that players may meet new opponents and other gamers from across the area!
